From Anger to Faith (Mary Ortiz)
Due to life's burdens and circumstances, some young people are forced to mature quickly and carry the world's weight on their shoulders. Mary Ortiz became a born-again believer at thirteen but was confronted with life and family circumstances typically reserved for adults. Despite the obstacles, she persevered and continued to fight. As an adult, she found herself in a marriage that deteriorated into physical abuse. Feeling abandoned and angry, she asked herself, "Where is God, and why am I going through this?" Through her pain, she clung to her faith and summoned the courage to trust in God's Word, believing that the Lord had a better future in store for her.
